The Zenith Defy El Primero 21 Carbon represents high-frequency horology wrapped in modern structural design. Housed in an ultra-lightweight, high-tech carbon fiber case, this timepiece blends technical mastery with a sharp, tactical aesthetic.
At the heart of this watch is the dual-escapement El Primero 9004 automatic caliber. While timekeeping operates at standard 36,000 vph (5 Hz), engaging the central chronograph hand activates a dedicated second balance wheel beating at a blistering 360,000 vph (50 Hz)—allowing the central hand to sweep the openworked dial once every second to track precise 1/100th of a second intervals.
The watch also comes with a spare black textile strap, as seen in the photos.
