This is the Ulysse Nardin Freak X, one of the most recent additions to Ulysse Nardin’s famed Freak watch line. The Freak watch family—a self-proclaimed Laboratory on the wrist—is known for its futuristic look and forward-thinking engineering. When it was introduced at SIHH in 2001, it shook the watch world, becoming the first watch to use silicon components in its movement. An innovation that had considerable implications in advancing watch movements and has since been copied by many blue-chip watch manufacturers.

This Ulysse Nardin Freak X is in EXCELLENT condition. This watch includes its original box, papers, and warranty card, as well as multiple straps including the OEM strap from Ulysse, a fabric canvas strap, and a black alligator leather strap. The entire 43 mm of the case is forged in titanium, a metal that is a bit different from others that we see in fine horology.

The Freak X is made of a titanium casing, a strong metal to showcase a rather simplistic but sporty, no numerical dial. 

The Freak X displays the time via a rotating movement, a central bridge acts as a minute hand; a wheel indicates the hours, but corrections in this latest iteration are made through a newly-installed crown.

This UN has a self-winding UN-230 Manufacture movement. The functions of this watch include hours, and minutes. Flying carrousel movement rotating around its own axis. The watch was also designed with its own balance wheel, escapement wheel, balance spring & anchor in silicon, and an oversized oscillator.
