It all began when Rubens Barrichello —the former Formula One driver— came to them with the extraordinary project of turning his stainless steel Rolex Daytona into an open-worked watch that had a similar look and feels to racing cars. The second reinterpretation that followed was to turn his Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ref. 116505 Everose into yet another open-worked masterpiece. Inspired by the automotive world, Artisans de Genève has made a series of extremely technical modifications to the automatic Rolex caliber 4130. Each detail, each element, is a tribute to this exceptional pilot and his love for racing. This watch comes complete with box & papers.
The ceramic bezel on the front with an ever rose held by a hidden folding clasp.
Everrose gold on the bracelet and case of the watch. While the bezel remains a cool black ceramic with a tachymeter on the watch.
Accents of everrose gold on the inside of the watch, the skeletonized dial allows you to enjoy every complication within the watch from the front.
Skeletonized Rolex® 4130 movement, bezeled by hand, with a 21ct gold rotor. Water resistant up to 100m. Barrichello etched into the crystal while limited edition stamps go around the caseback bezel.
