1999 Rolex Daytona "Zenith" Ref. 16520 (A-Serial)
The tail end of an iconic era. The 16520 represents the golden era of neo-vintage Rolex. The very first automatic Daytona line, housing the legendary Rolex Calibre 4030 (heavily modified Zenith El Primero). Being a late A-serial from 1999, it features the factory-correct, non-radioactive “Swiss Made” Luminova dial and the solid end-link (SEL) Oyster bracelet.
Case & Polish Status: Currently kept in honest, unpolished vintage condition to preserve its original case lines, thick lugs, and sharp bevels for purists and collectors.
Condition & Mechanical Health:
• Dial: Original gloss black dial in excellent shape with clean, creamy sub-dial rings.
• Bezel: Original stainless steel tachymeter bezel with crisp, dark engravings.
• Bracelet: Rolex stainless steel Oyster bracelet with minimal stretch.
• Movement: Calibre 4030 running healthy and strong. Tested on a timegrapher at +3s/d to +5s/d with an impressive 280° amplitude.
