The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, fitted with a Cyclops lens over the date window at 3 o'clock, magnifying the date by 2.5 times for improved visibility. The dial also features a unidirectional rotating black ceramic bezel with a 60-minute scale, allowing divers to measure their dive time and decompression stops accurately.

 

 

The watch is equipped with a solid Oyster bracelet made of Oystersteel, which features a folding Oysterlock safety clasp and Rolex's patented Glidelock extension system, allowing the wearer to adjust the bracelet length without the use of tools.
