Presenting the Panerai Luminor Luna Rossa GMT 44mm. A recreation of the 36th America's Cup titanium timepiece with DLC coating honors that invokes the Challenger of Record for the prestigious yacht race that has been held since 1851. The wristwatch, which builds on Panerai's maritime heritage, is unmistakably contemporary and rich in texture and detail. This watch is in very good condition, showing little to no signs of wear. It includes the original boxes (inner and outer), an international warranty card, papers with a stamp and stickers, spring bar tools, a plastic bezel protector, and two white stitched calf straps in black and green.

 

 

 

With a 44mm black titanium bezel and case. One eye-catching element of this Luna Rossa is the unique dial. Panerai utilized a technical fabric from the Luna Rossa AC75 monohull's sailing gear to cover the dial surface in a dominant shade of grey, fully embracing the "America's Cup" celebration. The texture and tactile quality of the dial design make for the utmost unique look. The red pointers add a touch of color at the running small-seconds hand and the 9 o'clock position on the sub-dial. This results in an incredibly legible timepiece, especially when combined with the stark white stick hands and white Arabic numerals at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock. The date is displayed at 3 o'clock.

 

 

 

The watch's striking appearance is completed by the notable engraving on the back case of Luna Rossa, supported by a strong and eminent design.

In addition to the original luscious strap in Ponte Vecchio Calf in black with white stitching and a trapezoidal pin buckle in titanium with a black DLC coating is a green version.

 

 

 

A piece more than capable of handling open water with a 300-meter water resistance, Panerai also added GMT functionality in a very satisfying configuration. The automatic P.9010 movement allows for independent operation of the hour hand/date. A making of a true GMT, covered in a special carbon-based DLC coating, adds an increased degree of wear resistance to the titanium's corrosion resistance.
