The Omega Speedmaster Professional Ref. 3573.50 is a modern interpretation of the classic Moonwatch, combining the traditional 42mm stainless steel case and black tachymeter bezel with sapphire crystals on both the front and caseback. This double-sapphire construction is what gives the reference its popular “Sapphire Sandwich” nickname.
The matte black dial retains the familiar three-register Speedmaster layout with luminous hour markers, white hands, running seconds, a 30-minute counter, and a 12-hour counter. Compared with the Hesalite-equipped 3570.50, the sapphire crystal provides greater scratch resistance and a slightly cleaner, more modern presentation.
Powered by the manually wound Omega Calibre 1863, the watch offers approximately 48 hours of power reserve. The decorated movement is visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback and features finishing intended specifically for display, including Geneva stripes, perlage, and polished components.
