The "First Omega in Space" takes inspiration from the watch used by the astronaut Wally Shirra during the historic "Sigma 7" mission in 1962. Featuring a varnished black dial, chronograph functions, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, this numbered edition model showcases a blend of style and precision. The steel case and tachymetric scale bezel add to its allure, while the manual-winding caliber 1861, known for its association with moon missions, lies at the heart of this exceptional watch.

This timepiece features a steel case of 39.7mm with symmetric lugs, combining durability and classic design. Its black dial and its silver-toned hands and hour markers ensure excellent contrast and legibility. The dial also shows three sub-dials located at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. The black bezel, equipped with a tachymetric scale, adds a classic touch to the overall aesthetics. With a water resistance of 50 meters making it suitable for minor water splashes.

This watch is adorned with a brown leather strap secured by a buckle that guarantees a seamless and precise fit, eliminating any risk of slippage.

The manual winding 1861 movement, renowned for its long-lasting precision and an approximate power reserve of 48 hours, serves as the driving force behind this exquisite timepiece. To augment its opulent allure, the solid case back of this watch is embellished with the distinguished Speedmaster engraving, introducing an element of sophistication.

This watch has been tested and authenticated by Bennisson watch repair.
