The Omega Speedmaster 50th Anniversary "Silver Snoopy Award" was launched to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Omega receiving the prestigious Silver Snoopy Award from NASA. This esteemed recognition was bestowed upon Omega in 1970 for its pivotal contribution in ensuring the safe return of the Apollo 13 mission to Earth following a catastrophic onboard explosion.
Presented in a 42mm diameter steel case, this timepiece exhibits a captivating aesthetic. The addition of blue ceramic bezel inserts, accentuated by a white enamel tachymeter scale, adds a touch of refinement. The silver dial boasts three subdials positioned at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. With a water resistance of up to 50 meters, it is capable of withstanding minor water splashes.
It is equipped with a blue nylon strap, adorned with a steel pin buckle embellished with the Omega emblem.
