The Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch "Alaska III Radial Dial" (145.022-78) 42mm case, is an extremely rare model originally designed for NASA's space missions. Created in September 1972, this prototype dial was used as a spare by NASA but never sold to the public. Out of 60 cases and 100 dials, 56 were issued to astronauts, while the rest were kept as prototypes. This model features a unique NASA-engraved Seahorse case back, a decimal bezel, and a distinctive pumpkin patina on the indices.
