In 1970, due to the significant role played in the success ensuring the safe return of the Apollo 13 mission to Earth after an explosion occurred on board, NASA gave this award to Omega, an honor given to individuals and organizations that have contributed significantly to the success of manned spaceflight missions.

This timepiece features a 42mm stainless steel case. The bezel has a blue ceramic insert with a white enamel tachymeter scale. The silver dial displays three blue subdials at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. The small seconds feature a silver Snoopy wearing a spacesuit and the 50th Anniversary legend. The blue hour markers and hands complement this unique design. In addition, this timepiece is water resistant up to 50 meters, making it the perfect combination of style and functionality.
