2023 Omega Speedmaster 50th Anniversary "Silver Snoopy Award" Chronometer (310.32.42.50.02.001)

The Omega Speedmaster 50th Anniversary "Silver Snoopy Award" is a timepiece with a lot of history, released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the brand receiving the prestigious Silver Snoopy Award from NASA. In 1970, due to the significant role played in the success ensuring the safe return of the Apollo 13 mission to Earth after an explosion occurred on board, NASA gave this award to Omega, an honor given to individuals and organizations that have contributed significantly to the success of manned spaceflight missions.

This timepiece features a 42mm stainless steel case with a blue ceramic bezel inserts with a white enamel tachymeter scale. The silver dial displays three blue subdials at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock also featuring a small seconds silver Snoopy medallion at the 9 o'clock position and a cartoon image of Snoopy, the beloved character from the "Peanuts" comic strip, wearing a spacesuit and a 50th Anniversary display. The blue hour markers and hands complement this unique design. In addition, this timepiece is water resistant up to 50 meters, making it the perfect combination of style and functionality.

The timepiece is furnished with a blue nylon strap featuring a steel pin buckle branded with the Omega logo. Not only does it provide a touch of elegance to the overall design, but it also guarantees a secure and comfortable fit for the wearer.

Featuring a manual-winding chronograph, the Omega caliber 3861 movement boasts a Co-Axial escapement and Master Chronometer certification, providing a power reserve of up to 50 hours.
