The Legendary Freedive Watch, Built for the Depths and Worn with Purpose: The Omega Seamaster Apnea 2595.30.00 is one of the most distinctive sport watches Omega ever produced, created as a direct tribute to Jacques Mayol, the eight-time world champion freediver who inspired the film "The Big Blue." Unlike any standard dive chronograph, this watch runs the Caliber 3601 automatic movement featuring a purpose-built apnea timing display: seven disc segments on the silver dial that alternate between silver and red, tracking up to 14 minutes of breath-hold time the way no conventional complication can. The 41.5mm stainless steel case pairs with a unidirectional rotating steel bezel and sapphire crystal, rated to 300 meters of water resistance. "Jacques Mayol" is engraved directly on the case back, making this a named tribute piece rather than a production variant. The movement runs strong, and the watch presents in good condition on its original stainless steel bracelet with light wear marks on the clasp consistent with honest use.
