The IWC Da Vinci Automatic 36 is an elegant mechanical watch designed specifically with the female wrist in mind, combining classic proportions with some wonderfully distinctive IWC details.
The 36mm stainless steel case is paired with a rich blue dial and alligator leather strap. The articulated lugs are designed to follow the wrist, giving the watch an elegant fit while allowing the polished round case and unusual semicircular crown to stand out. A circular date display at 6 o’clock keeps the dial balanced and beautifully clean.
Turn the watch over and IWC adds one of the most interesting details of the Da Vinci collection: the caseback is engraved with the “Flower of Life,” a geometric motif inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s study of beauty, proportion and mathematics.
Inside is IWC’s automatic Calibre 35111, making this considerably more than simply a beautiful dress watch. It is a proper mechanical IWC in a versatile 36mm size.
