The M.A.D.2 R&B is the Red & Black edition of MB&F's unconventional M.A.D.Editions collection, designed by longtime MB&F collaborator Eric Giroud. Inspired by vinyl records, DJ turntables and 1990s club culture, it features a midnight-black dial plate with striking red jumping-hour and trailing-minute discs. The raised displays resemble miniature turntables, while the surrounding rotor spins with wrist movement, making the mechanics part of the experience of wearing the watch. Inside is a Swiss-made La Joux-Perret G101 automatic movement fitted with a bi-directional jumping-hour module developed by MB&F. The unusual time display is housed in a rounded 42mm stainless steel case with sapphire crystals on both sides.
