This 2017 Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Calendar features the highly coveted Muonionalusta meteorite dial, crafted from material estimated to be over 4 billion years old. The meteorite fell to Earth hundreds of thousands of years ago and was later discovered in northern Scandinavia. Each slice reveals its own distinctive crystalline pattern, meaning no two meteorite dials are exactly alike. The beautifully balanced dial features a blue crescent-tipped pointer date, twin day and month windows at 12 o’clock, and an elegant moonphase display at 6 o’clock. A rare and highly collectible execution of JLC’s signature calendar complication, combining traditional Swiss watchmaking with the unmistakable character of a truly unique meteorite dial.
