Produced during the quartz crisis, the IWC Yacht Club II represents one of Gérald Genta’s lesser-known integrated bracelet designs, following his legendary Ingenieur SL. Far rarer than the Royal Oak and Nautilus, it remains a discreet collector’s piece of significant horological interest. This exceptional example features a stunning champagne linen dial bearing the original Sultanate of Oman Khanjar emblem, officially confirmed by IWC Schaffhausen archives, with an accompanying IWC Museum certificate authenticating the signature. The watch is powered by the ultra-thin IWC Caliber 3258 automatic movement, based on the Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 889, also used in early Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo references. Its 38mm Jumbo case wears larger thanks to its broad octagonal geometry and integrated bracelet. The untouched, unpolished condition preserves strong original factory lines, while the yellow gold accents and red Khanjar emblem create a distinctive and highly collectible vintage aesthetic.
