Inside is the IWC-manufactured Calibre 59210, a manually wound movement delivering an impressive 192-hour power reserve, allowing the watch to run for a full eight days between windings. The movement is visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback, showcasing the mechanical architecture behind the extended power reserve. Paired with a black alligator leather strap and stainless steel pin buckle, the IW510106 offers classic Portofino styling with a substantial wrist presence and a movement that makes it far more than a traditional dress watch.
