This iconic classic timepiece is in good condition showing light signs of wear. It includes an inner black box, travel roll, warranty instruction manual, cleaning cloth, and recent service records from Shammi Fine Watchmaking in New Jersey.
Honoring a crucial aspect of IWC's identity, a contemporary icon that the majority of watch enthusiasts instantly recognize due to its original red gold material. The amount of red in yellow gold is benchmarked. Red gold is 5N, typically consisting of 75 percent gold and 25 percent copper. This timepiece features a 40.9mm red gold case with a solid back, a red gold bezel frame, and a silver-plated dial with red gold hands and indices. The dial displays Arabic numerals, hands that resemble leaves, and two subdials (minutes/seconds track) located at 6 and 12 o'clock. The watch's apparent simplicity was one of its essential design elements.
Accompanying this piece of craftsmanship is the distinguished dark brown alligator leather 20mm width strap secured with a red gold buckle exuding the most subtle elegance.
Igniting this timepiece is the automatic self-winding 79350 calibre giving the Portuguese a 44-hour power reserve and a water resistance of up to 30 meters.
This watch has been tested and authenticated by Bennisson watch repair.
Watch passed the performance test with excellent performance and within manufacture specifications.
