The Grand Seiko SBGM031 is a 2012 limited-edition mechanical GMT created to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Grand Seiko’s first mechanical GMT. Limited to just 1,000 pieces worldwide, it features a 39.5mm stainless-steel case with Grand Seiko’s signature Zaratsu polishing, a distinctive box-shaped sapphire crystal, exhibition caseback, and 30m water resistance. Its standout feature is the rich Grand Seiko blue lacquered dial, complemented by polished applied markers, a date display at 3 o’clock, and a contrasting gold-colored GMT hand. It was originally paired with a blue alligator strap and folding clasp, giving it a dressier character than many modern GMT watches.

Inside is Grand Seiko’s Caliber 9S66, an in-house automatic GMT movement operating at 28,800 vph with 35 jewels and an impressive 72-hour power reserve.
