Hello sschad, there shouldn't be a problem with polishing the clasp but even if you had to get a new clasp you would still be getting a great deal on the watch for what it is offered for. All the US comps are at least a thousand dollars higher and the watch retails at $6,800, so this timepiece is offered at almost 45% off and it will be checked and authenticated by Bennisson, one of the best in the business!werjib1w 8
