The Omega Constellation Electronic F-300 (198.0034—F300) was notable for its accuracy and unique design, marking a significant shift in watch technology during the 1970s. It features a 38mm steel case paired with a matching smooth bezel. The case is marked between the lugs as being plated in 18 microns of gold. Its gold dial sports golden hands and hour markers with black accents and the raised Omega emblem on a red badge at 12 o'clock. A day-date display at 3 o'clock adds practicality. Its design is completed by a stylish steel bracelet fastened by a pin buckle. It was introduced as part of Omega's venture into electronic timekeeping with a tuning fork movement that operated at a frequency of 300 Hz, which gives it the iconic ‘hum’ as it works.
