An enduring symbol of prestige and classic Rolex design, the Rolex Day-Date Ref. 1803 remains one of the most iconic vintage dress watches ever produced. This circa 1970 example features a champagne pie-pan dial housed in a 36mm solid 18K yellow gold case with the signature fluted bezel, giving the watch its unmistakable presence and timeless appeal. Powered by Rolex’s automatic Caliber 1555 movement, the Day-Date was the first wristwatch to display both the date and the fully spelled-out day of the week. Further enhancing its vintage charm are the acrylic crystal and period-correct design details. The watch is fitted with a genuine Rolex crocodile leather strap and Rolex gold-plated buckle, a configuration typical of the era. Offered as watch only with no box or papers included, it remains in excellent vintage condition and runs beautifully.
