Housing the caliber 1200S, the Altiplano Skeleton was introduced as the world’s thinnest automatic skeleton watch when it was first released, with a thin 2.4mm movement inside a case measuring just 5.34mm overall. The rose gold case frames an anthracite openworked movement that feels architectural rather than flashy — every bridge, bevel, and brushed surface intentionally exposed. Piaget didn’t simply skeletonize an existing caliber; the movement itself was conceived from the ground up to be ultra-thin and openworked simultaneously, something very few manufactures are capable of executing at this level.
