To clarify, your reserve is above 9000 right?

Ah... no worry. I just saw someone bids 9000. My best offer is below 9000

What's your reserve?

Roger. My sense is that you can try to get a price estimate from Sotheby's or Christie's. They are putting together lots for the spring auctions. I frequently buy from New York, Paris, and Hong Kong (where I am based). Also, I sell some luxuries with their branches in Hong Kong. They typically quote a price-low estimate that they are very confident of getting sold. Anyways, Good Luck!

As the watch is rare and it is hard to know the market price, it might be a good idea to set up a no-reserve auction so that the bidder who bids the highest can get the timepiece, and you can maximize the value from selling. --- A Serpenti jewel collector

Happy Valentine’s Day! Dear seller, please keep posted here if you decide to sell this watch in some auction when you do not want it any more. I am happy to bid in future.

Hi Seller, wish new buyer can show up and get it sold by Valentine’s Day.

After netting of the buyer premium (24K) and seller premium (9K), the seller get 81K HKD by selling with the leading auction auction. That's equivalent to 16.5% of it original purchase price. I am happy to roughly 20% of its original for a second-hand piece. This is pretty much a fair market value to transact. If the price is over this level, it might be more cost efficient to wait for auctions.

Bulgari second-hand price is roughly 25% of its original price. The official price is 485K, sotheby's price is 114K.

Your asking price seems to be higher than its original price... Sorry
