I held this watch up to my nightstand lamp for 30 seconds and then took it into a dark room and could easily see the lum on the hands.

I had a 2001 datejust refurbished by Rolex recently, and the hands on the watch were not correct for the model. Rolex charged me $180 just for the replacement hands.

I'm out to town for the weekend, so can't check the hand luminosity until Tuesday, but my guess would be yes. The serial # puts this as 2001-2002, which means it has Super-LumiNova. Due to the fact that no chemical change occurs after a charge-discharge cycle, the pigments theoretically retain their afterglow properties indefinitely.
