Seems like a solid investment now that Rolex officially discontinued this model as of yesterday.

In my experience there's only two reasons why someone would bid against themselves in an online auction. 1) The bidder is totally clueless. 2) The bidder has a relationship with the seller and trying to artificially inflate the price.
