For the new generation, TUDOR also revised the model name from North Flag to Northflag, removing the space between the two words. The watch retains the integrated-bracelet architecture and angular design associated with its predecessor, while adding a GMT function and Master Chronometer certification. Its design also continues to reference the TUDOR Ranger II of 1973. The 316L stainless steel case measures 40 mm in diameter, 12.7 mm in thickness and 48.8 mm from lug to lug. Satin-brushed surfaces are combined with polished chamfers along the upper edges of the lugs and fixed bezel. The cone-shaped screw-down crown is finished with brushing and bead-blasting and carries the TUDOR shield in relief. A domed sapphire crystal covers the dial, while a second domed sapphire crystal in the case back reveals the movement. Water resistance is METAS-certified to 100 meters. The black dial is surrounded by a 24-hour rehaut angled at 45 degrees. Large Arabic numerals at 6 and 12 o’clock and the remaining hour markers are formed from monobloc luminous ceramic. The characteristic Northflag handset combines a broad arrow-shaped hour hand, baton-shaped minute hand and angular seconds hand, while a yellow arrow-tipped central hand indicates a second time zone against the 24-hour scale. The date is displayed at 3 o’clock. Grade A Swiss Super-LumiNova is used for the luminous elements, with additional yellow accents on the GMT hand, rehaut and Northflag signature. Power comes from TUDOR manufacture calibre MT5652-U, an automatic GMT movement measuring 31.8 mm in diameter and 7.5 mm in thickness. It has 32 jewels, operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, or 4 Hz, and provides a METAS-certified power reserve of 65 hours. The movement uses a variable-inertia balance with a silicon balance spring and a traversing balance bridge secured at two points. Calibre MT5652-U is certified by both COSC and METAS, with the completed watch rated to an average daily deviation of 0\/+5 seconds and resistance to magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss. Its bidirectional winding system uses an openworked monobloc tungsten rotor, while the bridges and mainplate combine sandblasted and polished surfaces with laser decoration. Reference 9140G1A0U is fitted with a dedicated two-link integrated bracelet in 316L stainless steel. The predominantly satin-brushed links have polished chamfers and terminate in TUDOR’s T-fit clasp, which provides five tool-free adjustment positions across an 8 mm range.
