It's a 42mm Submersible in Carbotech, and Panerai has barely done that. Carbotech is one of those things I didn't fully get until I had one in my hand. It's stacked sheets of carbon fiber pressed together, so the case has this grain running through it that's different on every single watch, and it weighs almost nothing for how big it wears. Nobody else is really doing this. Then they put blue on it. Blue hands, blue markers, black dial, and it just works. I've had a lot of Panerais come through and none of them get looked at the way this one does. People stop and ask about it.
