It includes the box, three additional straps, a booklet, strap tools, and papers.

Panerai tried something completely new in the PAM01109.

For the first time ever, Panerai introduced dual pushers on the left side of the case. This was to aesthetically balance the visual weight of the signature crown guard.

And I think it worked.

Most of us who wear chronograph timepieces press the start/stop button with our index finger and aren't aware of the sensory satisfaction brought on by using our thumb instead. Part of me doubts the makers of this watch ever intended to appeal to the sensory-pleasure seeking side of the wearer, and that this might be a coincidence. The chronograph is a complication many take for granted these days. It's found in a lot of mechanical watches and the subdials and buttons on the side of the case add character and purpose to the watch - but, after awhile they start looking similar.

I regularly use the chrono feature on my watches because it excites me more than tapping a screen. However, I especially love to use it on the watch in question.

Because the pushers are on the left and not the right, you press down on the buttons with your thumb while your index and middle finger support the watch on the crown side. Not until I used my thumb did I realize how awkward it felt to press down with my index finger. The thumb is larger, stronger and simply allows us to press down with significantly less force and greater stability.

You don't pop bubble wrap with your index finger, do you?

Blue is one of my favorite colors and I really enjoy watching the electric blue hand make its way around the dial. The sudden, sharp mechanical release of the built-up physical resistance of the pusher followed by the metallic "clink" inside the case is the icing on the cake. For someone with ADHD (me), satisfying a tick doesn't get much better than when multiple senses line up perfectly - sight, touch & sound. This is why I love the PAM01109 more than most chronographs.

Short of being a $10,000 executive fidget cube when brand new, I shouldn't forget to mention this thing looks absolutely amazing.

This particular example presents itself in amazing pre-owned condition as a complete set, with papers, the card, 8 year Pamguard warranty until 2029 and 1 extra genuine Panerai and 2 extra aftermarket straps.

Place your bid to get it for a fraction of that price today.
