For the 39mm version, Tudor shrank the case down from the larger 41mm Black Bay Chrono and kept the same MT5813 movement inside, a column wheel chronograph built on the Breitling B01 architecture, with a silicon hairspring, about 70 hours of power reserve and chronometer certification. We think the downsizing is exactly what this watch needed. The bright yellow dial and black subdials have always been fun, and at 39mm it feels intentional instead of loud. In person, the yellow pops in sunlight without looking cartoonish, and the black tachymeter bezel keeps everything grounded. On the steel bracelet it sits comfortably and wears flatter than you'd expect from a chronograph.
